There are two modes in which this screen can operate...
1) Defect note mode
2) Non defect note mode
In defect note mode, the history item must have a defect number and the defect note may optionally have a trip id.
A defect note can have many types (defined by the check boxes) but cannot be a 'nil-defect' and another defect at the same time.
A non 'nil-defect' requires additional text information.
If no mileage is entered, the current mileage on the vehicle will be used.
A defect note must have a unique defect note number.
In defect note mode, depending upon whether you have come from a trip screen or the vehicle maintain screen, will determine whether the history is related to a trip.
Use the check boxes to define the defect(s) and if the defect is not a 'nil-defect', enter some descriptive text.
Click Create Defect Report Entry to record the defect note.
Click Clear to create a new entry or update to amend the existing entry
2) Non defect note mode
A choice of hitory types is available for selection from a dropdown (required).
Enter some descriptive text.
Optionally, enter a cost associated with this entry.
Click Create Non Defect Report Entry to record the history.
Click Clear to create a new entry or update to amend the existing entry
