Prospect Finder [S11]
Overview
This screen allows the user to find a prospect Prospects can arrive into the system through several channels such as by being bulk imported, manually typed or from a weee registration form.
Rules
Initially, a prospect will not 'belong' to an account manager. An account manager may use this screen to list any prospects which are waiting to be 'owned' and as soon as they modify the prospect record for the first time they will automatically become the owner of that prospect. This is true only for account managers. An account manager can only see their own propects. A sales team manager should be able to see all prospects regardless of who owns the propect. This is subject to their user account being given this permission. This permission must be added to their role [Candidate Admin : BUSKeyBusinessFunction = 72] User access is regulated by the permission 'Candidate Maintain'
Operation
To find a prospect there are several ways to do this. 1) If you know the prospect Id then you can type this in diectly. Then click the 'search' button. 2) If you are making a more general search and would like to specify any combination of the other fields then you can do this. Only sales managers will have the ability to use the 'owner' dropdown. Then click the 'search' button. 3) Click the 'List un-claimed prospects' button to see a list of all prospects who don't currently have an owner (account manager). 4) If you would like to go directly to the prospect maintain screen, click the 'Maintain Screen' The translation date has a wizard button which will bring up the date wizard. The dropdown next to the date is for comparison so that you can find prospects which have been translated before on or after a given date. The codes in this dropdown equate to... GE - Greater or equal to to GE - Greater or equal to EQ - Equal to Click here to learn about the date wizard. The Auto Single Populate check box : If you do a search which brings back one record only then this record will automatically display in the prospect maintenance screen when ticked. The Find Non Owned check box : This will help you find non-owned prospects as a part of your search. The Owned By Me checkbox :  This will help you find prospects owned by you as a part of your search.
