The data in these fields is per arrangement and the data is generated periodically by sp_GenerateMarginAverage. The business should have an arrangement with the IT department to determine when this is run and for what period. For example it might run every week and it might consider all jobs in the past 18 months. If this is not done then the data will be meaningless. Also, the way that the margin figures are calculated is under review by the accounting dept.
Any job which has been cancelled or at the time has not gone through 'get prices' will not be considered becase the data will not have been calculated at this point. If a job has been through 'get prices' and has the wrong data (later to be corrected) we can only use that data which 'get prices' has generated at that time.
