Contact Maintain [S53]
Overview
This screen allows the user to maintain a customer contact.
Rules
The user requires customer update permissions to maniputate contact data. If a customer only has one contact then that contact wil become the primary contact. If the primary contact is deleted then Zeus will select another contact to become the primary contact. A checkbox is provided tp indicate that the contact is not an actual person. This can be used to record a department switchboard for example. When the contact is a person, then either the first name or surname must be given. When the contact is NOT a person, then the department must be given.
Operation
Apart from the usual CRUD buttons there is also a 'Make Primary' button which is visible when an existing contact is populated on the screen. When the screen is clear you can create a new contact and during this mode you will see a Primary Contact checkbox which can be used to show that your new contact will become the primary contact.
