Creating a new role : Click the Clear button to make the screen blank (if it is not blank already), enter the name of the role and click the Create button.
Creating a new role based on an existing role : Click the Clear button to make the screen blank (if it is not blank already), enter the name of the role and select the role that you'd like to copy the permissions from in the role dropdown. Then click the Create new roles based on this one button. As well as creating the new role, the permissions of the role that you have copied will be created for the new role.
Retrieve a role : To retrieve a role, select the role from the role dropdown and click the Retrieve button.
Update a role : First retrieve the role that you'd like to update. Then change the name of the role to its new value and click the Update button.
Deleting a Role : Retrieve the role that you'd like to delete. The click the Delete button. The associated permissions for this role will be deleted as will the links for this role to any actors.
The Maintain Permissions button will be visible when a role has been retrieved. This will show the Permission Maintain screen which will allow to to control the permissions for this role.
The Show Children button lists all actors who have this role assigned to their profile in the Actor Search screen.
