Operation
|
This screen works as a wizard and has three distinct steps.
Step 1 : Enter the company name and postcode
The company name and (optionally) postcode must be entered.
Step 2 : Select an existing match or continue
A list of matching suppliers is shown (if any matches are found). It is possible
that this account already exists and if so the account should be selected in
which case the account will be shown in 'Supplier Maintain'. If an existing account is not
found then you can continue.
Step 3 : Enter some basic customer information
The basic information required to create an account is filled in here. Please
fill in as much information as you can. When the
information has been collected the account will be created after which the
'Supplier Maintain' screen is shown into which further details can be entered.
Step 4 : Allocate a default local depot and advise credit checking
Select a local depot and advise credit action. Small accounts where less than
£1000 business per year is expected will usually need a direct debit to be
setup. Larger account will require a credit check. If you don't know what to do
here just select this as a 'new account - not specified'. |
