Overview
This screen allows you to display arrangements or jobs on a map.
Rules
Only active arrangements are displayed. Only arrangements where the supplier has mapping coordinates are displayed. NOTE : Not all suppliers have mapping coordinates. This happens where a supplier record has been given an invalid postcode for example. Non-UK and Northern Ireland do not have mapping coordinates.
Operation
There are various parameters which you can set on this screen and these require some explanation. Listing Arrangements Depot Center : The map will use this as your center point and will show this depot as the home point. Radius : This is only a very rough radius indicator and should not be taken as a true mileage setting. Record Limit : It is possible to accidentally ask the screen to select a huge number of records which will probably jam the browser. for this reason we use this to limit the number of record returned. Zoom : Use this to set the map scale. Only this depot's arrangements : Set this to make only the arrangements attached to this depot show on the map. Only this SLI company : Set this to make only the arrangements belonging to this SLI company show on the map.   Only this rota code : Set this to make only the arrangements with this rota code show on the map. Only this rota week : Set this to make only the arrangements with this rota week show on the map. Click Show Arrangements On Map to display the map. Click the Clear Form button to clear the screen and start again. Listing Jobs As well as being able to list arrangements you can also list jobs. The job filter has some additional controls. Collection Date (to and from) : This will only work with jobs which have actually been collected and therefore have a collection date. Job status : This multi-selection list allows you to select job with a certain status. The above arrangement field filters are also used when listing the jobs. Click Show Jobs On Map to see the map of jobs. This screen can also give a prediction for weekly type rota collections. The selection will take into account any of the criteria that you've set in the control listed above and will select only the jobs which are scheduled (according to the arrangement's rota) for a collection in the week number that you specify. At the moment this does not take into account contract start/end dates and it does not include monthly or daily rotas. To use this facility, select the week number that you'd like to predict and then click the Show Weekly Week Prediction button.
