Trip Control Panel [S92]
Overview
This screen shows the user a control panel to enable the management of trips. Jobs can be assigned and removed. Mileage / fuel / status can be managed. The driver / vehicle can be managed.
Rules
There may be links to drivers and vehicles but these are only clickable if the user has permissions to view these.
Operation
Trip List This section allows the user to list trip data. A date range can be applied and the status of the trip can also be filtered on. Click List Trips to see the report. The summary buttons (driver and vehicle) will show a report with one line per driver or vehicle. The range of dates will also be passed to this report. Specify Trip This section allows the user to select a trip either by entered the trip it and then clicking the Manage Trip button or by selecting a trip from the recent trip dropdown. The recent trips can be controlled by setting the number of weeks back in time that the dropdown will include. There is a refresh button to update the recent trip dropdown which can be useful if you have just created a new trip. A create button is provided to create a new trip. Manage Trip Once a trip has been selected, various options may be offered depending upon the status of the trip. The buttons do the following... Show Trip Map : Show a map of the jobs on this trip Trip Mileage : Show a screen to allow the user to edit the trip mileage Driver / Vehicle : Show a screen to allow the user to change the vehicle or driver Show Assigned Jobs : Show a list of jobs assigned to this trip Weight : Show the weights on this trip These buttons help the user to assign jobs to a trip and the jobs can be filtered... List Available Jobs : Show the available jobs in a list format Map Available Jobs : Show the available jobs in a map format
