Material Wizard [Z2]
Overview
This screen allows you to choose a material. There are several methods of doing this and you can choose the best method according to the information which you have. The wizard operates in three stages which follow on from each other.
Rules
Stage 1 : The 'Go' buttons will not be enabled until something has been selected Stage 2 : You must select a matching material to go to stage 3. Go back if nothing matched. Stage 3 : You must enter a quantity (this may not be required in some cases and when this is the case you will not see the quantity text box)
Buttons & Links
Stage 1 : There are a number of ways in which you might be able to find a material. 1) Enter part of the name of the material 2) Select an industry type from the dropdown 3) Enter the EWC code from the parent EWC dropdown. If you do, then the child EWC dropdown will be populated and you should select a code from this dropwown 4) Select a material stream type from the dropdown 5) Enter the UN number of the material When you have done any of the above, the adjacent 'Go' button should have become enabled. You can then click this button to go to stage 2. Stage 2 : This is where you can see a list of matching materials. If there are no matches then a message will make this clear and you can click the 'back' button to return to stage 1. If the material which you're looking for is listed then you should click the 'select' button to go to stage 3 Stage 3 : Finally you are requested to enter a quantity before clicking the 'Finish' button.
